Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday quite a few Scrap Shack Chicks were seen at the Scrapfest in Mandeville, LA.
No pictures were taken of Peggy, Linda, Elizabeth, Sally, Yolande, Carolyn and Brenda but here is one of Gisele, Reyne, Lori, Diane and Lynn.

and one of Ellen with all her packages.

Our next meeting is this Saturday, March 19 at 1 p.m. where Diane will be demonstrating techniques using a brayer. Check your email box for the supply list because Diane sent that out today.

ScrapShack Chicks spotted at Scrapfest Spring 2010

Take a look at who was scrapbooking and papercrafting at Scrapfest last weekend ... Reyne, Sally, Lynn, and Diane.

Then Lori and Jane joined them the next day. Peggy and Carol showed up to shop but eluded the camera so there is no picture of them.

We had winners too. Diane won a Tim Holtz gift prize from Simply Scrappin and Reyne won five $10 gift certificates.

Now we did get some work done. Here are the scrapbook pages Lori finished:

This is Lynn's bunny workspace and just a few of the cards she finished:

Next picture are the "Some Bunny Loves You" cards Sally finished. She found those cute egg carton die cuts at Scrapfest and figured out how to make them herself:

There are no pictures of the scrapbook pages Diane finished but here is the chipboard book she started at Tickfaw and finished at Scrapfest:

For the first time at Scrapfest Reyne did not work on scrapbook pages and took advantage of Diane's expertise in covering chipboard books by asking her tons of questions.

Scrapfest Fall 2009

Scrap Shack was represented at Scrapfest Fall 2009 by Sally, Diane, Lori, Gisele, Lynn and Reyne. The table decoration that was on display at Scrapfest received a lot of attention and has been saved for all to see at our next meeting (details to come). Now here are some pictures of the chicks in action at Scrapfest.

Workshop Display

Scrapfest gave out chances to win prizes during the day by having your name pulled out of a bowl to play the famous 'Price is Right' game called Plinko.

None of our names were pulled but we did exchange gifts with each other on Friday and Saturday.
